The Fireactiv® Open Thermal Self Heating Knee Support with integrated bracing combine variable compression with 2 stage deep heat therapy. Designed to help reduce unwanted or excessive movements, it’s ideal for people suffering from chronic pain due to repetitive sporting or occupational activities.
This support features a patella opening to isolate and restrict excessive movement and help relieve tension in the patella ligament, especially beneficial in conditions involving dysfunctional patella tracking, such as chondromalacia patella. Since the support encompasses the entire knee joint, it improves overall stability by eliminating unwanted glide and twisting at the knee.
Weight bearing pressure during movement is more evenly distributed over the joint, which helps ease arthritic and meniscus pain.

I have osteoarthritis in my knee and this support has been such a life saver as it has got into the colder months. It takes a while (about 15/20 minutes) to feel the heat but once it kicks in it is very soothing and relieves the pain and seems to loosen the knee joint. It has also helped to reduce swelling.
The support is probably a bit too rigid to use during exercise but aside from that it is fantastic and I couldn’t recommend it more.
