How Fireactiv® Works

Fireactiv® thermal supports may be used simply as a secure joint and limb support or with the detachable and interchangeable heat pads.

During the manufacture of the heat pads, special bio-ceramic heat reflective particles are fused into the fibres. When placed against the skin, these ceramic particles radiate deep heat back into the body.

This reflected heat is known as long wave infrared radiation.Long wave radiation dilates blood vessels, increases blood and oxygen circulation which speeds up the healing process for any injuries present.

Red pad

The concentration of special bio-ceramic heat reflective particles in the red pad delivers intense deep heat for fast pain relief. Depending on individual preferences and tolerance, the deep heat pad is typically used for shorter periods of time.

White pad

With a lower concentration of the bio-ceramic particles the white pad offers a more subtle heat and is more suitable for extended periods of time during sport or other therapeutic activity.
